Tatami HQ Quality – 5.5 cm

The HQ tatami mat is a high-quality floor covering in the traditional Japanese style. It consists of highly compressed rice straw, is covered with a finely woven igusa grass mat, and finished with black edging.

Compared with the standard tatami, the HQ tatami has a higher density and corresponds to the common Japanese quality, which is also suitable for walking on.

Tatami Square – Modular Design for Flexible Arrangements

The Tatami Square consists of four tatamis joined edge to edge in the classic size (90x180 cm), with a central square measuring 90x90 cm, or a larger version with four tatamis measuring 100x200 cm each and a central square measuring 100x100 cm. (See the images in the photo gallery.)

• Tatami Square 300: 4x 100x200 cm + 1x 100x100 cm = total dimensions 300x300 cm

• Struck-through dimensions are currently in production and therefore have longer delivery times, but can already be pre-ordered.
  They are expected to be shipped from October. The delivery time for 100x200 is currently somewhat longer.

Due to delivery costs, orders for a single tatami are fulfilled with an additional delivery charge (provisionally shown in the order confirmation) or shipped at a logistically favorable time (applies to Germany and the Benelux countries and may take 4–10 weeks).
Please also note that tatamis can only be shipped on pallets. Logistics costs are higher than the costs shown in the shopping cart, which are standardized for a larger futon (tatamis = at least double the cost). Any order will be adjusted and reconfirmed by us.
